Making Arroz con Leche

It was Dr. Sanchez’s birthday at the end of July so Andrea and i decided to make him some homemade arroz con leche.  Arroz con Leche is pretty much a staple dessert here, its practically on every menu or street corner in Lima.  Also this Arroz Con Leche here is a lot smoother and less thick than the rice pudding I have had in the states.  Its a pretty simple recipe: rice, evaporated milk, condensed milk, and whatever additional flavor garnishes you want.  We added coconut shreds and raisins!  It was delicious and Dr. Sanchez loved it!
